In accordance with Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data , and in relation to the implementation of the new European Regulation 2016/679 on Data Protection, and Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, hereby inform you that any personal data you provide, including e-mail address, will be entered into an automated file under the ownership and responsibility of UIC Barcelona. This data will be used to formalise, undertake the administrative management of, carry out and develop all of the teaching and/or institutional activities that take place at UIC Barcelona.

Once the party concerned sends their personal data and e-mail address to UIC Barcelona, they expressly authorise UIC Barcelona to use this personal data to send regular notifications, particularly those sent via e-mail. This includes notifications sent by UIC Barcelona or affiliated institutions to students, alumni or potentially interested parties, informing them of the University’s activities, news, courses, programmes, etc., as well as any other products or services relating to the institutional activities carried out at UIC Barcelona.

You are also hereby informed that UIC Barcelona has an internet website and several publications in which it disseminates or provides information about the teaching activities and other complementary activities which form part of the University’s institutional objectives (hereinafter, "Tools for Dissemination and Information"). These normally include images in which students, users, workers and parties potentially interested in UIC Barcelona may appear, individually or in groups, participating in any of the aforementioned activities. Therefore, by virtue of the right to self-image recognised under Article 18.1 of the Spanish Constitution and regulated by Law 1/1982, of 5 May, on the Right to Honour Personal and Family Privacy and Self-image, anyone who signs this document expressly authorises UIC Barcelona to publish, edit, use, distribute, reproduce and/or communicate photographs/images in which the undersigned appears in an easily identifiable fashion, in relation to the teaching activities and complementary activities which are included within UIC Barcelona's institutional objectives, in any of its Dissemination and Information Tools, in any format, in an unlimited manner.

The undersigned also authorises their name, surname/s and email address to be transferred to the companies that sponsor the programmes, for the purposes of sending regular notifications and/or advertising during or after their participation in the programme, as well as public organisations at either a state, autonomous community or local level for the purposes of compiling and studying statistical data.

The party concerned may exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion, limitation, portability and, in accordance with the current legislation, by sending an e-mail to the data controller at dpd@uic.es

Intellectual property rights: The undersigned student, as holder of their own intellectual property rights, expressly authorises UIC Barcelona to disseminate any work, projects, models, compositions, recordings and any other creations they produce and/or present as a UIC Barcelona student –either within or outside their academic field– via any medium or in digital format, with the exception of end-of-degree/master's projects or doctoral theses, which are governed by specific regulations.

The undersigned also authorises the aforementioned works to be placed on public display or included in catalogues, in the format UIC Barcelona considers appropriate. The foregoing is contingent upon specification of the origin and/or authorship of each creation.
